We made sausage today :D I was supposed to be up to my Aunt and Uncle's by 8am, buuut I was up late so that didn't exactly happen. I got there around 12:30. Oops. Upon arrival I went right back out the door with my Uncle Mike and Tyson. They damaged one of the parts on the grinder, and we had to go to Cicero to get a new part. It was an interesting adventure. I spent a really long time having very ill feelings towards my Uncle, so I'm glad we've been able to work that all out and bond again. It was fun :)


When we got back I finally got to dig in. I mostly did mixing, which is when you mix the meat with the spices and water. Here are pictures of the process~


First you have to take the intestines and untangle them for the casing. This was icky, so I stayed the hell away from that.

The cops were out like crazy today. They were camped out on the overpass catching people on the highway, then sending troopers after them. I saw 3 people get nailed in a row, it was insane. Need to remember that when I'm driving to West Point next week!

Due to family pressure, I cracked and told my mom about Chicago. She really didn't care XD; she was like "So? You go all over the place all the time." Though she doesn't know all the details... *cough* But at least she's alright with it. I also extended the offer to DJ to come with. He said he'd think about it, so I'm crossing my fingers. I REALLY don't want to travel alone :__:

I was really excited to see a blow up of pages on the DWF Torchwood spoiler page; I thought we might have gotten more spoilers out of Gallifrey One. but... [POTENTIAL SPOILERS, YO] in reality it was just another person coming onto the forum and saying Ianto is going to die. I really can't believe RTD would be that dumb to kill Ianto when they just gutted the fans last season by killing off Tosh and Owen. A lot of people have already been turned off by those deaths, to kill another character seems like it would be kicking the fans when they're already down. I would still watch because I do like all the characters, but I would definitely not be as into it as I am now because I wouldn't be able to get attached to any of the characters[I'd say the same if it was Gwen, Rhys or Andy].
I don't know, I'd probably worry about the spoiler more if the poster didn't say Gareth asked for less screen time. Gareth is smarter than to ask for less time on TW when he doesn't have anything else lined up. And the suggestion he wants to spend more time working on his band? I think Gareth knows he's a better actor than a singer. He's stated it's more of a hobby for him, and I'm pretty sure he's probably raking in a lot more cash doing TW than doing gigs with the band.


I wanted to listen to the hockey game at my Uncle's about 1/2 way through, but I couldn't get a wifi connection that was strong enough to handle the streaming audio. :__: So I mad-dashed home[with a pitstop at Green Hills to buy ingredients for PSP's Founders Day potluck], and was able to catch a bit of the post game show. 3-1 RIT, whoo. Bentley took down Air Force 4-1, so RIT regained 1st in the AHA by one point. We've also clinched 3rd place in the regular season :) Aaaand our Women's team downed Cortland 7-1. *dance*

Tomorrow I'm heading back around noon. Upon arrival in Rochester, I need to go to Jess and Ev's to cook up my mac and cheese. Then photohouse meetings, then potluck, then a marathon meeting for PSP. We have to vote in candidates, so it's going to be a loooong night.

PS 50 Cent is coming to RIT. Second rap act this year, WTF CAB. Is there a hidden contingency of rap fans hanging around RIT and I'm just missing them? Bring someone good FFS!
